Graduate Student and Postdoc Opportunities

Graduate students interested in process geomorphology and physical sedimentology are encouraged to apply to admissions to the graduate program.  For specific questions about our group, please contact Michael Lamb. The GPS Division provides expertise across all disciplines of Earth and Planetary Science. 

Postdoc applicants should apply for the GPS Division Fellowships typically announced in October for a start date the following summer.  Applicants will be considered for other postdoc opportunities specific to our group.  

Undergraduate Research

I am currently looking for undergraduates to assist in and lead flume experiments both in the summer (e.g. SURF) and during the academic year.  Please contact Michael Lamb for more information.  This opportunity is for Caltech undergraduates; however, exceptional students from other universities may also be considered. Funding for international students to travel to Caltech for this work is not available.
